- Eligibility
- The contest is open to individuals who have used Pond Armor products to waterproof their pond or water feature.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older to participate.
- Submission Guidelines
- Participants may submit only one photo of their pond or water feature.
- Photos must clearly showcase a pond or water feature that has been waterproofed using Pond Armor products.
- Entries must be emailed to pondarmorphotocontest@gmail.com with the subject line: “Pond Armor Photo Contest Submission.”
- Include the following in the email body:
- Full name
- Contact information (email and phone number)
- A brief description of your pond or water feature, including how Pond Armor was used.
- Photo Requirements
- Photos must be submitted in high-resolution JPEG or PNG format.
- File size must not exceed 10 MB.
- The image must be the entrant’s original work and must not include any watermarks, logos, or text overlays.
- Photos containing inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated content will be disqualified.
- Original Work Only: The photo must be the entrant’s original work and must depict their own pond or water feature that has been waterproofed with Pond Armor products.
- No AI-Generated or AI-Enhanced Images: Photos created or significantly enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI) tools are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to:
- Generating images entirely through AI.
- Enhancing images with AI-based tools to alter the authenticity of the photo (e.g., AI upscaling, colorization, or altering structural details of the pond or water feature).
- Minor edits such as cropping, adjusting brightness/contrast, or sharpening are acceptable, but the integrity of the original image must remain intact.
- No Stock Photography: Entries must not include stock photos or images sourced from online platforms or other creators. Submissions must represent a real-life pond or water feature owned or created by the entrant.
- Verification: Pond Armor reserves the right to request proof of originality. This may include asking for additional unedited photos or details about the pond or water feature’s construction process. Failure to provide proof may result in disqualification.
By submitting a photo, entrants confirm that their submission adheres to these requirements. Non-compliance will result in immediate disqualification.
- Entry Deadline
- All entries must be received by June 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST).
- Judging Criteria
- The winner will be chosen subjectively based on creativity, aesthetic appeal, and how well the photo showcases the pond or water feature.
- Decisions made by the judges are final and cannot be contested.
- Prize
- The winner will receive a $500 gift card for the selected photo.
- The winning photo will be featured on Pond Armor’s website, social media platforms, and other promotional materials.
- Winner Announcement
- The winner will be notified via email by July 15, 2025.
- If the winner does not respond within 7 days, another winner may be selected.
- Usage Rights
- By submitting a photo, entrants grant Pond Armor the right to use, reproduce, and publish their photo in any promotional material, including but not limited to the company’s website, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Entrants retain ownership of their photos but agree to allow Pond Armor unlimited usage rights without additional compensation.
- General Conditions
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- Employees of Pond Armor and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Pond Armor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if unforeseen circumstances arise.
