In part 2 of the Faux Rock for Aquariums video, we show you how to use the Hotwire Foam Factory cutting tools to shape an cut the high density foam. Be sure to use a respirator and cut the foam in a well ventilated area.

The cutting tools can be adjusted to varying temperatures that make slicing through the foam really easy. Picture in your mind the shapes you wish the foam to take a use a Sharpie to mark where you wish to cut.

Round the edges with the wire attachment for a more realistic look. Make sure that if you piece will be viewed from both sides to carve and cut all the way around the piece.

Take care not to touch the wire or the knife when cutting as it will be extremely hot and severe burns can result. Wear protective leather gloves while cutting to avoid injury.
